Mwesigwa Baron is a brilliant hard working boy and is most if the time among the best 5 students in his class.
Baron is taken care of by his grandmother who has other 6 children she takes care of. His father is a cook in one of the local schools in the village. Baron has an amazing sense of responsibility he is up by 3.30-4am to read then wakes the other little ones up and gets them ready for school. He has to make sure that they exit the house by 5am so that he has enough time to walk them to school. At his age he carries all this responsibility on his shoulders.
On our visit to his home something very sad came to our attention. He sleeps in a house that is fit for hens. We wondered what happens to him when it rains or in that cold at night. He goes through all this without a any complaint. All he could say was he just wants to go to school.
Baron likes reading. He says whenever he gets a chance to read he is happy and tries his level best. When asked what he likes doing in his free time he said grazing cattle and he said this with a very happy face. And he wants to become a farmer and grow many crops and have many cattle so that he can sale and get money.
